In Honor of USA Sun Vacation Sale!

Flight Centre currently has an amazing offer for packages to USA Sun destinations, like California, Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii, Florida, AND Puerto Rico! We are offering $200 OFF PER ADULT for custom packages which include flights from Canada, accommodation (3 nights minimum), and an activity. You can email me any time for more information:  . In honor of this sale, I wanted to include a couple of my own highlights from some of the places on the list!

  1. Dole Pineapple Plantation in Hawaii
Oahu is breath taking. The Hawaiian culture just inspires the ultimate sense of CHILL. The pineapple…ahem CHERRY … on top of the trip, was the my visit to the Dole Planation, where I tried delicious pineapple ice cream and looked my very best in a bikini (haha get it? because I am a pineapple in the pic below)
  2. Grand Canyon just outside Las Vegas
I did Grand Canyon independently the first time, and with a tour the second. I highly recommend the latter. There is so much to see, and it is pretty difficult not to get lost in the “awe” of it all during your visit. Also, the tour company packed an amazing snack box and provided comfy, festive blankies for when it gets nice and chilly at the Canyon.

  3. Disneyland in LA
My first visit to Disney was as an adult, and I cried from accidental joy. Also, try the churros.
  4. Do everything in Phoenix!
I love Phoenix, AZ. Like truly love it. The long highways and the tall palm trees are music to my soul. It’s home to the BEST BBQ joint in the universe (no exaggerations here) and huevos rancheros that will make your mouth taste like heaven. If you want to go to Phoenix, we need to CHAT.

Have a Fantastic Weekend….and Look at this Ship!

I have no words….you just have to watch this for yourself. This is a total dreamcateon!! So many activities, absolute luxury, and newest technology. With amenities like this, I doubt you will ever want to get off the ship!

Have a happy weekend everyone, and if you have any questions about cruises…or life in general, email me at

A Caribbean Resort Alternative: Cuba Cruise

I have been to Cuba many many times. It is one of my favorite countries that my heart just totally connects to. So I was pretty excited when I found out that Transat is doing a CUBA CRUISE. During the cruise, you get to visit UNESCO World Heritage sites, national parks, as well as the gorgeous streets, beaches, and mountain paths of Cuba. AND, you do a quick touchdown in Jamaica.

This cruise fits a stricter budget. The rooms are not too luxurious, but……this cruise…..unlike many others INCLUDES UNLIMITED BOOZE, which is a huge deal in terms of your on-board budget if you like to indulge in cocktail or two. The ship also has plenty of amenities, like pools, children activity programs, 3 restaurants, gym, and even a casino! Also, kind of cool, you can add a week long stay at a resort before or after your cruise. If you want to learn more about this cruise, email me at

Just me lovingly starring at the ocean in CUBA ❤

Happy Humpday: Holy Ship

If you have ever held the misconception that cruises are for “old” people, THINK AGAIN. Holy Ship is basically a rave or Coachella…or Burning Man…on a ship. Departing from Port of Miami, this party cruise sails to the Caribbean and Bahamas. The waiting list can be up to TWO YEARS, and the next two cruises, scheduled for January and February 2016, are already sold out. The cruise is only 3 days, but let’s face it, that’s probably enough to detox for the next month.

Mystery Solved: What the heck is turndown service?

I am a weird neat freak that literally prefers to clean her own hotel room. This comes from my mom being a germ-obsessed nurse, who is hyper aware of the lingering disease wherever we are. Boogie man? Nah, in my family we are scared of touching bus railing after strangers. As such, I have been very suspicious of turndown service….and have always TURNED-it-DOWN (see what I did there). Today, I confronted my suspicious by reading about it on the internet (classic!).

A couple of weeks ago, I spent 5 magical days in Riviera Maya at the Royal Suites Yucatan resort. Here are some pictures from my time there.
